Trying to answer a few e-mailed requests, but found out I have a couple of my own. In no particular order, here are the questions I can't find the answers to. Hopefully some of you may know these...
1) Will a late model Katana or Bandit twin disc front end fit the Savage, and if so, How? I don't use front brakes, but someone wanted to know.
2) Will the frame be damaged by molding (smoothing) the welds? I haven't done mine yet, so I couldn't answer this one. My frames welds are absolutely hideous, so I'll do this over the next winter.
3) Do any soft bags that are big enough to use actually fit this bike? Mine is chopped, with different rear turn signals, so someone with the stock set-up needs to touch on this one, please.
4) How can I post photos so a certain couple forum members will quit pestering me to show off my bike. Be forewarned, I hate clearcoat paint and chrome, so it is not very shiny. And my version of cable routing is straight out the mid 1950s (as in, cross the tank or free swing) because I'm too cheap to buy the right length replacements. Oh, and the tail light says "F*** the Factory", and I don't know how to edit digital photos.
5) Does anyone make translucent orange paint? I want to modify my rims, too much chrome (yuck).
